POTD 152/365 – Chicken Xing
I just don’t get this sign, but there is something compelling about it.
POTD 151/365 – Memphis Airport
The “B” Terminal at MEM has this great mezzanine level that few people think to visit.
When leaving for Vegas, Dave, Christina, Lucky, and I checked it out.

Angie Parker and granddaughter Avery, plus Herold, Dave, and Lucky chill on the porch.

Katherine and Jeff show off their breakfast masterpiece.
POTD 148/365 – High Water
Greers Ferry Lake is super high.
We had to rig up a system just to get people to the Parker’s dock.

POTD 135/365 – Road Under Water
This is the Mississippi River, in the northern section of Shelby County.
The river is usually more than a mile down the road.
The water smelled overwhelming of diesel, with a thick sheen covering the movements of tadpoles, soon to lose their tails.
POTD 134/365 – Still Flooded
While the water is now going down around Memphis, many of the areas near streams are still underwater.
Some of the areas blocked by water are pretty random. This is on Whitney near New Allen.
